Tricia Anne Daniels

Sports Director/ Treasurer

Our family is deeply rooted in the Rockford community, where sports are a big part of our lives. We have three boys a senior, a sophomore, and an eighth grader who play football, lacrosse, wrestling, and basketball. My husband has coached for years at the youth and middle school levels, and our boys have followed his lead, mentoring and coaching younger athletes. It’s truly a family affair, and you’ll almost always find us on the sidelines or in the stands.

Through these experiences, I saw a need some kids didn’t have access to safe, properly fitting equipment, and in some cases, were missing out on playing altogether. What started as helping one player quickly grew into something more.

Today, as Tapestry’s Sports Coordinator, I help collect and distribute equipment, help fit kids, and support young athletes both on and off the field. We believe every child deserves the chance to play, build confidence, and feel part of a team.

Krista Klepchak

Merchandise Director/ Secretary

Shawn and I first met on the soccer sidelines, cheering on our boys, never imagining years later a simple conversation about a clothing rack would spark something so meaningful. When I started seeing her posts about Tapestry, I reached out help — and the rest is history.

Growing up with three sisters, I always loved hand-me-downs and the value of giving things a second life. While earning my marketing degree at Michigan State University (GO GREEN!), and helping open the Gap on Grand River, I discovered how much I loved organization, appreciated style, and creating spaces people enjoyed being in.

But what has always mattered most to me is making a difference, even in small ways. I’ve always believed in recycling, reusing, and taking care of our community. As a mom of three boys — from elementary school to Rockford High School — I’ve spent years watching how much good can happen when people simply show up for each other.

That’s what I love most about Tapestry. It’s so much bigger than clothes or sports gear. It’s watching kids help kids. It’s seeing NHS students give their time with happy hearts. It’s watching my own boys fill up bags of clothes they’re excited to pass on to someone else. Those little moments remind me that kindness spreads, and that even the smallest things can mean everything to someone else.
